Ceremony – On-site at Orso Bayside Reception

How did you meet? We met through a friend. I had spent the day with my best friend relaxing by the pool before deciding to drop into her friends place for a BBQ. Brad only lived a few streets away. Little did we know we would fall madly in love after that first meeting and began dating in only a few weeks

How did you get engaged? Brad and I are both very family oriented. Living interstate from our families Brad knew the importance to include them on this special day. When my family were visiting us he decided to ask both my parents for my hand in marriage and then propose on that night at our home. He also had his entire family on skype at the time. I had absolutely no idea and was so shocked yet so excited. We spent the rest of the night drinking champagne to celebrate and calling all of our other friends and family members to let them know the exciting news

How would you describe your Big Day? Perfect! The day went off without a hitch. I was overwhelmed with positive feedback from our guests after the big day. We couldn’t fault anything. We had raving reviews of the food, venue and service. Thank you to Amy, Sasha, Julie and the team for making our day a dream come true

What was the highlight of your Day? This would have to be leaving by Water Taxi. Our wedding went by so quickly and Brad and I didn’t get any alone time on the day. The water taxi was not only the most incredible exit but it was such a special time between Brad and I. We were talking about all our favourite things from the day while passing through beautiful Sydney Harbour.

Do you have any suggestions for future Brides and Grooms? Your special day is what you make of it. Don’t stress there is no need to, just enjoy every moment. (however this is coming from the most chilled bride ever according to our celebrant!)
