Ceremony – Bradleys Head Amphitheatre
How did you meet? Through an Entrepreneurship Peer Group
How did you get engaged? James hired a private helicopter in Queenstown and flew us to the top of a snow-capped mountain overlooking a glacier. He then proposed, kneeling in the snow and the rest is history! It was an absolute surprise!
How long did you spend planning your Wedding? About 9-10 months
How would you describe your Big Day? Our day was fantastic! We had a little bit of rain before our ceremony started, but the cloud formations made for spectacular dramatic photography, which suited my bouquet and wedding theme. We enjoyed a day of love, lots of laughing and plenty of dancing! We had at least 2 hours of dancing before our first dance!! The Orso team were fantastic and made sure we were well taken care of and nothing seemed too difficult for them. The day went so quickly and we cannot believe it’s all finished!
What was the highlight of your Day? The highlight of our day was marrying the love of our lives in such a beautiful location and romantic weather! Other highlights were the fantastic reception full of fun, excitement and plenty of dancing from the moment we entered. The Unofficial Persian ceremony performed in the reception was also very beautiful and entertaining for all.
Do you have any suggestions for future Brides and Grooms? Just try to enjoy your day. This day is for the bride and groom to enjoy and remember. Things may not go as planned, but all that matters is that you are marrying the love of your life. Make lists for everything you want to have done (photo’s etc) as you will likely forget on the day.
