Orso Bayside Restaurant is absolutely waterfront and superbly positioned on Sydney’s Middle Harbour adjacent to the Spit Bridge
in Mosman.
It is modern elegantly appointed and has a spectacular marine panorama of Middle Harbour scenery, sailing boats, pleasure craft and cruisers.
Orso’s influences originate from Italian and Mediterranean culture. The seafood oriented restaurant is absolutely waterfront, it has its own beach, jetty and deck, and a resident family of photogenic pelicans can be seen paddling outside at most times.
In keeping with its origins as a boatshed, guests can arrive by boat and tie up at Orso’s private jetty, or utilize ample car parking on either side of Spit Road.
Orso’s design features are muted to better reflect its special waterfront surrounds. A sea of white damask covered tables, outdoor canvas awnings; natural sisal carpet, sand-hued boarder tiles and polished timbers emphasize the scene. Lighting is deliberately soft, utilising a special sail device which takes its reference from the sails of yachts and the curvilinear forms of the hulls moored in front of the restaurant
Guests relax in designed chairs and enjoy all the activity on the harbour as they choose from a menu created by 5 star executive chefs. The menu takes into account a broad Italian and Mediterranean taste base, with many seafood specialties being the focal point of the daily offerings.
